Trees are agents of environmental change- how does this inform the way we might design with them? Jamie shares projects that engage with plant processes such as succession and migration, measure and direct plant performance, and use maintenance and management as important tools of design.
About Jamie Vanucchi
Jamie Vanucchi is an Associate Professor in the department of Landscape Architecture at Cornell University. Her teaching and research experiment with ways to merge ecology and design, working primarily with floodplains and forests. She has a small design/build practice with projects in the Finger Lakes region and in the Catskills.
